Anker 25W 5-Port Wall Charger
The Anker 5-Port Wall Charger is retailing for US$19.99 (S$24.72) on Amazon. My friend, Benjamin, ordered for us and I shared the shipping with him, after everything I paid S$33.
This Anker 5-Port Wall Charger weighs 166g and measures 98mm (Length) x 60mm (Height) x 27mm (Thickness).
The 5 USB charging ports are labelled as:
- iPad (2.1A)
- Samsung Tab (1.3A)
- iPad (2.1A)
- iPhone (1A)
- Android (1A)
Do note that the total output is 5A and I managed to charged at most 4 devices (2x iPads, 1x iPhone 5s and 1x HTC One). I tried 5 devices (2x iPads, 2x iPhone 5s and 1x HTC One) but the HTC One did not charge. If you only charge an iPad, it will be possible to charge another 4 mobile phones with it.
I wish it can output 2.1A for each of the 5 USB ports like the Griffin PowerDock 5.
You might want to consider a better alternative from Anker, which is the recently released Anker 36W USB Quad-Port Wall Charger. It has 4 USB ports and is capable of producing a total output of 7.2A (2x 2.1A and 2x 1.5A).
