The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will be launching on Friday, 19th September 2014 at 8am at Marina Bay Sands, Exhibition Hall A, level 1.

With regards to LTE networks in Singapore, for the iPhone 6 model we are getting the A1586 and for the iPhone 6 Plus model, we are getting the A1524.

For the iPhone 6 without contract, it maintains the same pricing tier as last year’s iPhone 5s. Note that the 32GB is phrase out, so for the same price of iPhone 5s 32GB, you will get 64GB iPhone 6 instead and for iPhone 5s 64GB, you will get the 128GB iPhone 6 instead.

The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will be available in three sizes (16GB, 64GB and 128GB) and in three colors (Silver, Gold & Space Grey).

SingTel Postpaid’s price plans (in Singapore Dollars S$) for SingTel iPhone 6/iPhone 6 Plus
SingTel has revamped the naming for their postpaid price plans from SuperLite, Lite, Value, Plus and Prestige to Combo 1, Combo 2, Combo 3, Combo 6 and Combo 12 respectively. There is a new plan called Combo 4 which sits in-between Combo 3 and Combo 6.

Just in case you are not aware, from 19th August 2014, SingTel increases the price plan by S$3/month for all price plans except for Combo 2 and Combo 12.

Take the S$3/month as paying for the 4G VAS because for all the Combo plans, the 4G VAS are waived permanently. It seems that M1 and StarHub took the cue from SingTel and decided to waive their 4G VAS permanently as well. If not, for M1, the 4G VAS is waived till 31st December 2014. After that, you will also get charged at the usual rate of S$10.70/month. For StarHub, they charged extra S$2.14/month for 4G VAS from 1st July 2014 till 31st December 2015. After that, you will get charged at the usual rate of S$10.70/month.
