Zendure SuperPort S2 supports most fast charge protocols like USB-C Power Delivery (PD) 3.0, Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0, and Samsung Adaptive Fast Charging (AFC).

GaN technology allows SuperPort S2 to have a small footprint. Measuring 29 x 41 x 66 (mm) and weighing only 115g.

In comparison. the Apple 61W USB-C Power Adapter measures 74 x 74 x 28 (mm) and weighs 195g. This makes the Zendure SuperPort S2 65% smaller and 52% lighter.

The Apple 61W USB-C Power Adapter is too bulky and heavy to be portable, and hence I am only using it at home.

Hence, my go-to laptop charger which is always in my bag is the Innergie 60C USB-C Laptop Adapter. It measures 30 x 30 x 60 (mm) and weighs 88g. This makes the Zendure SuperPort S2 37% bigger and 27% lighter.

Just in case you have noticed that I have replaced the UK 3-pin plug to the US 2-pin plug so that the comparison is fair.

I have since replaced the Innergie 60C USB-C Laptop Adapter with the Zendure SuperPort S2 as my go-to laptop charger in my bag. I find the trade-off in size and weight acceptable since the SuperPort S2 comes with an additional USB-A port and charges 5W more.

macOS correctly detected the Zendure SuperPort S2 as being a 65W charger. After using it for a few hours to charge my 15″ MacBook Pro, the temperature of the charger hovers peaks at 64°C.

The only downside is that I have to bring along a separate small US 2-pin plug to UK 3-pin plug adapter.
